Expanded SMB track eligibility

More SMB-focused partners can pursue Cloud & AI Platforms Solutions Partner designations.

This update applies to Solutions Partner for Data & AI (Azure), Solutions Partner for Digital & App Innovation (Azure), and Solutions Partner for Infrastructure (Azure).

Microsoft is removing the Azure consumed revenue (ACR) threshold for small and medium-sized business (SMB) track eligibility across the three solution paths that contribute to Solutions Partner for Cloud & AI Platforms designation attainment. Going forward, partners with at least 80% of their customer base in small, medium, and corporate-corporate (SMC-C) and SMB segments can qualify for the SMB track across the Data & AI (Azure), Digital & App Innovation (Azure), and Infrastructure (Azure) solution paths.

This update creates a simpler path for SMB-focused partners to attain a Solutions Partner designation and gain a validated signal of capability which is recognized by customers and Microsoft sellers. Solutions Partner designations can demonstrate expertise, strengthen customer confidence, differentiate in the market, and increase visibility in customer buying conversations.

The eligibility update applies to the solution paths that contribute to attainment of the Solutions Partner for Cloud & AI Platforms designation:
