Meeting Microsoft mandatory security requirements helps you reduce risk, demonstrate reliability to customers, and maintain your Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partner authorization. Annual validation of security requirements begins January 2026, so take these key steps to stay secure and authorization-ready:

  • Provide a monitored security contact in Partner Center and keep contact information current to ensure timely communication.
  • Enable multifactor authentication (MFA) for all in-scope users with administrative roles.
  • Review and limit privileged roles regularly and remove inactive accounts.
